About Us
Founded in 1948, AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organisation and is present in 113 countries with more than 86 000 members. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, to change the world, and to get experience and skills that matter today. The Global Community Development Program (GCDP) allows youth to develop practical skills and soft skills by participating in social and community development projects abroad for a minimum of 6 weeks in one of 113 countries. During these internships, the majority of the time is spent working in areas related to community development for a specific issue, giving the intern an opportunity to directly make a positive impact on the local community.Young leaders from different places in the world came together in the Wanhua District of Taipei, Taiwan to live locally and act globally. This website documents their discovery of Wanhua as an exquisite treasure of Taiwan.
